All figures in this analysis are based on conservative assumptions for clarity and consistency. Motor purchase costs were estimated using a Permanent Magnet motor as the baseline at $1,300, with Induction motors assumed to be about 20-30% cheaper, Brushless DC about 15-20% cheaper, and AC Synchronous about 10% cheaper. Downtime estimates were also simplified to monthly averages: Induction motors at roughly 1.3–1.7 hours, Permanent Magnet, BLDC, and AC Synchronous at 0.8–1.3 hours.
